I was called in to save Secret Agent BOSKO, and things got crazier. And all of this took place in a cemetery on Easter. I can’t even discuss the attack of the bunnies afterwards.

I started drawing and painting some versions of me now with my long Covid Pandemic Isolation Long Hair as my late best friend and muse, Blackie the Cat.

I was originally going to cut my hair once I got my vaccine but I don’t know yet. BOSKO seems to enjoy it as a playground. Thanks everyone for the positive feedback about my long hair. So I’m playing it by ear.

I love lecturing about art around the world. In the late 90s and early 2000s, I started lecturing about “Pervasive Art,” where I felt it was important for an artist for create and challenge themselves to work in many different mediums. Back then, individual art disciples loved to penguin hole artists to stay in one approach. You were either an illustrator or a painter, or an animator, or toy artist, for example. I worked hard to bust the boundaries that kept an artist in only one area. I still do.

My parents were Holocaust Survivors, immigrants who arrived to America with nothing but scars and dreams. My father took up work as an electrician, and my mother worked at Canter’s Bakery.
They did everything for their family. And I was their American Dream Accident Baby, ten years younger to my next sibling.
I recently walked by the home I lived from 6 months to 5 years old. I love this happy fading photo of me in front of the entrance door.
