Today is the 11th ANNIVERSARY of the Opening of my Museum Exhibition, THE DOOR IS ALWAYS OPEN, at the @skirball_la Skirball in LA.
One of the highlights of my life where we created an ART INSTALLATION of my FAMILY HOME, mixing my parent’s furniture and mementos with my art as a Love Letter to my family and the Fairfax District where I grew up.

I based these mezuzahs from my childhood home, but added my character Veritas, who is the Magi of Truth.

We produced new ones to celebrate the 11th anniversary of The Door is Always Open at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles (April 25, 2013). The original run of this limited edition mezuzah sold out a decade ago.

Mezuzahs are placed on the doorpost of a home for protection (mezuzah refers to a piece of parchment inscribed with Hebrew verses from the Torah).
Fabricated in pewter by PIP Studios in Los Angeles, measuring 5 x 1 in.

The last photos are of happy memories of celebrating Passover with my family as a child!

He comes from Hollywood Royalty with the legacy of Blackie the Cat. But Bosko doesn’t take advantage of famous heritage. He is an artist in his own right, ready to make his own mark.
