My parents were immigrants who survived one of the most horrific events in mankind and was able to create a new life here in America.
249 years ago, the US kicked out their last king. Until recently, America represented Democracy and Freedom around the world. America represented Hope. As it says on the Statue of Liberty, “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.”

Remembering BOSKO!

Today is the 6th month anniversary of the tragic passing of my Bosko.
He died on FRIDAY the 13th, December 2024. And this 6 month Anniversay just happens to also land on Friday the 13th!!!

So much has changed in the last 6 months. The spirit of Bosko & Blackie brought me many things, especially having me foster these 5 black kittens for the past month.

Remembering how special the World’s Greatest Flying Cat was.

With all the tension in this country, let’s try to hear the beautiful music of the past, and groove to the hope of peace & love!

This painting is titled “Disko Jockey,” 40.6 x 50.8 cm, Acrylic on canvas

Disko Jockey shows my rabbit Disko riding Manny Moa, a character that symbolizes those loved and lost, from my eries Memento Moa. Disko holds onto reins made of Forget-Me-Not flowers that symbolize remembrance. The moa bird represents a past long gone, and yet this image evokes a playful moment, suggesting how to ride and enjoy and appreciate the spirit of our past, and those who are gone.

This painting was recently exhibited in ART OSAKA 2025 with @megumiogitagallery in Japan!

I’m sending out positive energy and love out there.

THIRD STREET SCHOOL 100th Anniversary YEARBOOK!!!💥🔥❤️

💥I’m honored to create the cover art for my old elementary school’s yearbook cover!

💥Last fall, I created a signed print to raise fund for the school & I gave a lecture to the student body to instill confidence in their desire to go after their dreams!

⚡️In the same auditorium where I spoke, as a 6th grader, I listened to Bob Clampett’s presentation about creating animated cartoons! It gave me the confidence to become an artist!

💥I also got the loudest and longest ovation from the kids that melted my heart.
I also had all the children sing happy birthday to Bosko at the time.
