Baseman in the Community

On April 24th, Gary Baseman painted with a community group in Los Angeles through Art of Elysium (AOE), a non-profit built on the idea that through service, art becomes a catalyst for social change.

The organization in turn reached out to our longstanding friends at Kitty Bungalow, who brought kittens to sit for portraits. Baseman painted 2 canvases, one featuring Musubi (in photo below), and her sibling Huli. Both paintings will be auctioned off at an upcoming fundraiser for Kitty Bungalow on June 7, 2025.

On April 29th, Art of Elysium hosted an art dinner salon celebrating The Mighty Paw. Artists and supporters joined a special night of music with Jen Awad, food, and conversation between Baseman and AOE founder Jennifer Howell.

Baseman donated several original artworks to benefit AOE. If you’d like a list of available works, contact us HERE.
