Join GARY BASEMAN and JIM HEIMANN, Executive Editor of Taschen Books, for an evening of dialogue that explores how dining culture has shaped the city of Los Angeles.

Gary and Jim will reminisce and reflect about their ever-evolving hometown and neighborhood, and their love of vintage design and history. Longtime friends and flea market fiends, the two have shared their collections of found treasures with the world. Whether inspiration for art-making or content for multiple books, both take seriously the narratives that could be found in ephemera like menus, photographs, and ads from yesteryear.
